I found a new website that allows you to sell and exchange products (Utah). They have paid product posting as well as free product posting. The thing I like most about the site is that it allows you to auction your stuff too. The creator is still working on the site constantly, but it is up and running in the mean time.
I just got done posting some affordable neck ties from MyNiceTie.com. Who knows, maybe this will generate some business. It depends on how well the owner generates traffic.

Mormon opinion of HBOs series BIG LOVE

Dear Friends,

The HBO series "BIG LOVE" will be airing an episode in which they say they plan to show the temple ceremonies. The church issued a great statement about it. Here is a link to their statement. If you want to read the news article, click here
I personally will not watch the episode because this only supports it. In the Church's statement they said, calling for a public boycott "would simply generate the kind of controversy that the media loves and in the end would increase audiences for the series."
For this reason I am only sending this email to members who, like me, may want to take a second to write HBO directly and express their disappointed in the disrespect for something we hold sacred. If you feel so inclined, you can contact them here.
Remember that we have been counseled that, "Latter-day Saints should conduct themselves with dignity and thoughtfulness [when addressing issues like this]."
In conclusion, I love how the Church ended its official message "If the Church allowed critics and opponents to choose the ground on which its battles are fought, it would risk being distracted from the focus and mission it has pursued successfully for nearly 180 years. Instead, the Church itself will determine its own course as it continues to preach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world."
I testify of this mission and its importance.

Voting Poll Hours
Voting Poll Hours are from 7am to 8pm in Utah.
To find your voting location, Google Maps has Voting locations and directions by just typing in your zip code.
Voting Poll hours vary from state to state, but Google maps also has some great location specific information.

Check Voter Registration
Well, it is down to the wire. Just 14 more hours and the last day of voting begins. If you got to this post searching for voter registration, then I must apologize because I can't help you with that. I don't even know where in the state you are. But I do want to give you my two cents.
The person we vote in for president is probably more important this election year, than many prior. This president will decide and influence many important things. If you have a second, please take the time to read my post below.

Several simple reasons why I'm not voting Obama
Assuming that you haven’t voted already, I want to share several reasons why I am voting McCain. More specifically, these are reasons I’m NOT voting Obama. To be honest, I am not particularly fond of either, but there is no sense wasting my vote on an independent when we live in an America dominated by a two party system.
Several Simple Reasons to Vote for John McCain
Avoid a tax increase
Raising taxes in a struggling economy DOES NOT create jobs, or help the economy; in fact, it does the opposite. If you think too many jobs are being lost now, wait till taxes go up for almost every entrepreneur in the USA.
Obama says that the life-blood of the economy is the middle class. He says this is why he wants to spread the wealth around. In reality, the real engine of the economy is entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs do three things: they create jobs, they create opportunities, and they create wealth. Raising taxes on them decreases their incentive to do these three things.
As the wise man said, “A bigger pie is always better than a bigger piece of a smaller pie.” Do you understand what I am saying? Raising taxes on entrepreneurs and giving it to the middle class gives them a bigger piece of an eventual smaller pie. It is only a short-term fix. No wonder Obama uses this as a platform in a society that is so fixated on the short-term, this is a guaranteed way to win votes.
Avoid Socialism
Socializing health care can only hurt our futures. The reason US medical care is the envy of the world is because incentives exist to continue innovation. Take the incentive away, and you take quality health care with it. This again is based on fundamental economic principles; for instance, self interest. If companies do not see big profits in medical innovations, they will not pursue them. Or what about the economic principle of supply and demand. If price goes down what happens to demand? Yep, it goes up. If price goes to nothing, what happens to demand? It goes way up. If medical care is free, then there will be long lines and long waits to get it.
Protect the Supreme Court
It is my opinion that Obama will likely elect Chief Justices (CJ) that are more liberal than not. This could tip the scales of the court to liberal for many many years because CJ’s don’t leave after Obama does, they stay for life.
Obama has also said that he will elect judges that judge with empathy. Although this sounds like a great statement, but the judicial branch of the constitution is to uphold the law first and foremost. It is the legislative branch that is supposed to make the laws with empathy, not the judicial. Electing judges that do not uphold the law is again breaking down the check and balances established in the constitution.
Keep balance in Washington
Having a democratic congress and president could give one party too much power.
